Built in 1952, Yuexiu Park is the biggest park in Guangzhou. Its name is after Yuexiu Mountain。 Yuexiu Park is a perfect combination of cultural relics and ecological tourism.
Yuexiu Park is made up of three artificial lakes, known as Beixiu, Nanxiu, and Dongxiu, and extends out seven small hills, including Yuejing, Guihua, Muke, and Liyu. Here you can enjoy the verdant grass, trees and flowers and hear the songs of birds all the year round.
With much beautiful natural scenery, travelers can spend hours exploring its paths, dotted with elaborately engraved, Linnan-style pavilions, platforms and towers, and stop to relax beside the rippling waters of the three lakes.
