• Reed Flute Cave

  Located in the northwest of Guilin City, Reed Flute Cave is known as "the Palace of Natural Arts". The cave is one of the largest known examples of what each tropical karst cone conceals within it. It is a cave on the southern shoulder of the Guangming Hill (Bright Hill) and is one of the most extraordinary scenic spots in Guilin. View Photos

• Elephant Trunk Hill

  Situated at southeast of Guilin city and western bank of Li-River, Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan) is regarded as the symbol of Guilin itself. On hilltop stands the Puxian Pagoda which was built in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), it looks like the handle of a sword. It is about 55 meters high, 108 meters long, 100 meters wide and has an elevation of 200 meters above sea level.

• Li River

  Lijiang (the Li River) of Guilin is renowned for its beautiful scenery of mountains and waters. Tourist attractions include Guilin city, Yang Shuo county, Lingui, Ling Chuan, Qingan, Yongfu, Longsheng. The total area is about 2000 square miles. • Yangshuo

  Yangshuo lies in the northeast of Guangxi Province and to the southeast of Guilin City. The special geography gives it breath-taking beauty while over 1,400 years of history bless it with a deep traditional culture. • Wave Subduing Hill

  Wave Subduing Hill (Fubo Shan), another Guilin's wonderfully scenic spots, is about 2 kilometers from Elephant Trunk Hill and above the western bank of Li River Scenery. It is 213 meters high and emerges 62 meters above the water. Half of the hill is in the river and the other half is on land. Since the galloping water is always blocked here and eddied, the hill is considered to have the power of subduing waves. In addition, it was also a temple in commemoration of General Fubo was built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), so the name of Fubo Hill. View Photos

• Seven Star Park

  On the eastern side of the Li River in Guilin city, covering an area of 134, 70 hectares, Seven Star Park is the largest composed of some of the finest sights in the city. The park takes its name from its seven peaks which are resemble the form of the Big Dipper constellation.
