Located at Houping Town, 88 kilometers from Wulong County, Houping Giant Doline is the first tiankeng cluster type of erosion discovered in the world. A tiankeng refers to a karst doline or sinkhole, measuring at least 100 meters in depth and in diameter. Formerly known as Long Yin, Ci Qi Kou is located on the bank of the Jia Ling River. Covering an area of some 1.2 square kilometers (291.6 acres), it is 14 kilometers to the west of Chongqing Municipality.
