There are two railway stations in Wuwei: Wuwei Railway Station and South Railway Station of Wuwei. Wuwei Railway Station is located in Wunan Town. The South Railway Station of Wuwei has been the marshalling station of international Lanxin Railway and the terminal of Ganwu electrical route.
The China National Highway 312 traverses three counties and one city in Wuwei Area. The whole length in Wuwei Area is 177 Kilometers.

Public buses can reach any corner of the city. Taxies are also available in Wuwei.
