Located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on the west bank of the Li River, Guilin has long been renowned for its unique scenery of verdant mountains, green waters, magnificent crags and wonderful caverns.
Guilin is also an important cultural city with a history of more than 2,000 years. Since Song Dynasty, the city has been the political, economic and cultural center of Guangxi. Ten counties: Lingui County, Yangshuo County, Lingchuan County, Xing'an County, Quanzhou County, Yongfu County, Ziyuan County, Guanyang County, Pingle County, Lipu County. And two autonomous counties: Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County, Longsheng Autonomous County.
