To and from Guiyang

Air

Guiyang Longdongbao Airport is located about 9 miles from city. Presently, it serves more than 30 airlines connecting Guiyang to the major cities of China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Guilin, Xiamen, Xian, Changsha, Wuhan and Haikou. There is also flight to Hongkong. Shuttle buses run every hour from 08:00am to 20:00pm, and cost RMB10 between the airport and the city.

 

Train

Trains are the major form of transportation in Guizhou Province. Four railways radiating from Guiyang include Guiyang-Liuzhou, Chongqing-Guiyang, Guiyang-Kunming and Zhuzhou-Guiyang. Trains leave from Guiyang can go to all major cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Wuhan, etc.

Located in the downtown Guiyang, it is convenient for you to take buses No.1 and No.2 from the railway station.

 

Long-distance Bus

There are 5 national highways and 30 provincial trunk lines connect Guiyang with all cities and counties in Guizhou province, as well as the cities and provinces outside Guizhou, such as Shenzhen, Nanning, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Fujian, Guangdong, etc.

 

City-bus

In Guiyang, the city bus is very convenient, and the bus fare is only 1RMB. What’s more, there are thousands of public buses with hundreds of bus routes.

 

Taxi

Taxis are everywhere in Guiyang city. The fare is 10RMB for the first three kilometers and RMB1 for every added kilometer. Generally, it is RMB20 during the day time and RMB12 at night.

 

Bicycle

Bicycles can be hired in parks or scenic areas. Because its mountainous terrain, it is unusual to ride a bicycle.
