Macau Climate

Lying on the western side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province in the north and facing the South China Sea in the east and south, Macau enjoys a subtropical climate with very hot summer and a rainy period during the summer months. The average annual temperature is about 22. the summer climate of Macau is longer than other seasons with high temperature over 30℃. The cold days is less than 30 days with the average temperature under 10℃. The autumn weather of Macau begins in October, but it is very short. This is the best time to visit Macau.

Travelers should be sure to wear light cotton clothes for the summer, take sweater for cooler nights from September to November and bring jackets for the winter. The weather of Macau is unfixed and hard to forecast. However, most of the time from October to November and April to May is the best to have vacation. In April, the humidity begins to build up. From May to September, the weather remains hot and humid with occasional rain and typhoons.
