Day 01 Beijing (D)

Temple of Heaven

Introduction :

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where you will feel immediately the imperial ambience. Then our guide will greet you at Beijing airport and escort you to the hotel to check in. Then you will visit the Temple of Heaven, constructed between 1406 and 1420, where Ming and Qing emperors would make sacrifices to worship the Heaven for good harvest.

Day 02 Beijing (B. L)

Great Wall

Introduction :

Today you will take a coach to the Great Wall, the top of the Seven World Wonder which snakes along for 5000 miles through steep mountains and deep valleys. It’s a spiritual symbol of the Chinese nation, and a miracle in world architectural history.

Day 03 Beijing (B. L)

Forbidden City

Introduction :

Today you will have an unforgettable visit to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and the Qing Dynasty (1636 A.D - 1911 A.D) and one of the four great imperial palaces in the world, which illustrate to the best the imperial luxury, in both architectural styles and decorations. Then you can have a pleasant stroll at the Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world. Take the flight in the night to Xi’an, the oldest city in China.

 

Day 04 Beijing – Lhasa (B. D)

Introduction :

Fly to Lhasa in the morning and 6 hours later you arrive in Lhasa city. The rest of the day is free time for you to release the altitude stress. As the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibet is a wonder on the highest plateau in the world. The city has over 1300 years of history, with very deep religious deposits of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 05 Lhasa (B. L)

Potala Palace

Introduction :

Today you will visit the renowned Potala Palace situated on the Red Hill in Lhasa, means "the Sacred Palace of Buddhism" in Sanskrit. In 1994, the Potala Palace of Lhasa was put on the UNESCO's list of World Cultural Heritage. Then you can walk though the Barkhor Street, the most hustle and bustle street and famous circumambulation. In the centre of the street stands the Jokhang Temple, the first Buddhist temple in Tibet. It is also the Sacred Temple of all Tibetan Buddhists. All year-round many Tibetan Buddhists go on a pilgrimage to the Jokhang Temple, from all over Tibet and other provinces like Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia.

Day 06 Lhasa (B. L)

Harmonious Shot

Introduction :

After breakfast, you will go to the Drepung Monastery, together with Ganden and Sera Monastery, is the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. Then visit NorbuLingka, known as "Summer Palace of Tibet". It is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet Autonomous Region and was listed in the World Heritage Site in 2001 as part of the "Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace" by UNESCO. Today is over with a Tibetan family visiting.

Day 07 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse ( B. L )

Introduction :

Embark on a coach to Gyantse, the third largest town of old Tibetan towns. On the way you will vist the Yamdrok Tso, which is one of the three most sacred lakes in Tibet with an elevation of 4441 m. After pass the Carola (5045m), you will reach Gyantse. Visit Baiju Monastery, which was built in 1418, with numerous exquisite frescos and Buddha statues. Continue your journey to Shigatse, the traditional domain of Panchen Lama, the second head of Tibetan Buddhism. The name of Shigatse means 'the fertile land'.

Day 8 Shigatse - Lhasa ( B. D)

Tashilhunpo Monastery

Introduction :

Today your schedule is arranged to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the largest temple in the Shigatse area, which is listed as one of the six great temples of Sect Gelug. It was founded by the First Dailai Lama in 1447 and was expanded by the Fourth and successive Panchen Lamas. In the afternoon, go back to Lhasa by coach.

Day 9 Lhasa -Departure (B)

Introduction :
