Introduction :

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where you will feel immediately the imperial ambience. Then our guide will greet you at Beijing Airport and escort you to the hotel to check in. In the afternoon, you will visit the Beihai Park, an AAAA tourist attraction and a key historic site under national protection, has been a playground for emperors for hundreds of years.

Day 02 Beijing (B. L)

Great Wall

Introduction :

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, snakes along nearly 5000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. You will climb the Great Wall at Juyong Pass in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand.

Forbidden City

Introduction :

This morning, you can walk along the famous Tiananmen Square - the largest square in the world, and reach the Forbidden City, the imperial palace for 24 Emperors between 1420 and 1911. It is the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. Then you will wonder along the Hutong where gathers the typical Beijing traditional residential houses.

Day 04 Beijing - Lhasa (B. D)

Tibetan

Introduction :

Fly to Lhasa after breakfast. Lhasa is the highest capital in the world. It literally means "place of the gods", although ancient Tibetan documents and inscriptions demonstrate that the place was called Rasa, which means "goat's place". After check in, you can have a free tour.

Day 05Lhasa ( B. L )

Potala Palace

Introduction :

Today you will visit the renowned Potala Palace situated on the Red Hill in Lhasa, means "the Sacred Palace of Buddhism" in Sanskrit. In 1994, the Potala Palace of Lhasa was put on the UNESCO's list of World Cultural Heritage. Then you can walk though the Barkhor Street, the most hustle and bustle street and famous circumanbulation. In the centre of the street stands the Jokhang Temple, the first Buddhist temple in Tibet. It is also the Sacred Temple of all Tibetan Buddhists. All year-round many Tibetan Buddhists go on a pilgrimage to the Jokhang Temple, from all over Tibet and other provinces like Qinghai, Gansu and Inner Mongolia.

Day 06 Lhasa (B. L)

Introduction :

After breakfast, you will go to the Drepung Monastery, together with Ganden and Sera Monastery, is the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. Then visit NorbuLingka, known as "Summer Palace of Tibet". It is the biggest man-made garden in Tibet Autonomous Region and was listed in the World Heritage Site in 2001 as part of the "Historic Ensemble of the Potala Palace" by UNESCO. To end this day with the Tibetan family visiting.

Day 07 Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse ( B. L )

Yamdroktso Lake

Introduction :

Embark on a coach to Gyantse, the third largest town of old Tibetan towns. On the way you will vist the Yamdrok Tso, which is one of the three most sacred lakes in Tibet with an elevation of 4441 m. After pass the Carola (5045m), you will reach Gyantse. Visit Baiju Monastery, which was built in 1418, with numerous exquisite frescos and Buddha statues. Continue your journey to Shigatse, the traditional domain of Panchen Lama, the second head of Tibetan Buddhism. The name of Shigatse means 'the fertile land'.

Day 8 Shigatse - Lhasa ( B. D)

Tashilhunpo Manastery

Introduction :

Today your schedule is arranged to visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, the largest temple in the Shigatse area, which is listed as one of the six great temples of Sect Gelug. It was founded by the First Dailai Lama in 1447 and was expanded by the Fourth and successive Panchen Lamas. In the afternoon, go back to Lhasa by coach.

Day 9 Lhasa - Xi'an (B)

Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Introduction :

You will take the soft-sleeper train (a cabin with 4 beds) to Xi'an. It will cost you over 35 hours on the train. Enjoy the unique and beautiful landscapes on the way. The meals are excluded in the train. You can go to the dinning car yourself to order the meal. It usually costs about 9$ per person.

Day 10 arrive in Xi'an (Meals excluded)

Introduction :

Arrive in Xi'an at night, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000 terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. You are greeted on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in.

Today you'll be guided to visit the renowned Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, which was acclaimed to be the eighth wonder of the world; in the afternoon, visit the Xi’an City Wall in downtown which is the best preserved ancient city wall of 600 years old history in China at present.

Little Wild Goose Pagoda

Introduction :

After breakfast, you will have a tour to the Little Wild Goose Pagoda Park which is one of two significant pagodas in the city of Xi'an, as well as the Xi’an Museum in the park. After lunch you will visit the Bell & Drum Tower Square, which is located between the famous Bell Tower and Drum Tower built in Ming Dynasty. Walk through Islamic street, where you can find almost everything from popular local snacks and food, crafts, antiques and souvenirs to some great restaurants. Then visit the Great Mosque, one of the most famous mosques in the world with the history over 1200 years. You can appreciate combination of the Chinese and Islamic temple and Chinese traditional furniture of Qing Dynasty.

Day 13 Xi’an - Shanghai (B. L)

Round out your tour with stops at Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai and the riverfront Bund, where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings.
