Entry Regulation

 

When you come to China, you must read Chinese Custom Regulations, you must fill in a Health Declaration Form at custom. Anyone who owns pornographie, hostilital materials, weapon, drug, few plants and animals, blood and antique are permitted to bring into China has to show the certification and declare to custom.

Duty-free Goods: 400 cigarettes, 2 bottle spirits (je 750ml), 5000USD(or the same number with another currency for foreigners, if you take more than 5000USD, you must declare to custom).

 

Health

Foreigners who will stay in China over one year must have a HIV—Test Paper before entry. Those coming from areas with epidemics yellow fever must show their valid certifications of inoculation against this disease. Those who have infected diseases including Aids, Lepra, Venereal diseases, TB (pulmonany tuber culosis), Mental disease are not permitted into China.

 

Travel Insurance

Anyone who travel to China should have a valid travel insurance, this insurance companies your whole trip until finishing your travel to your home. The price of travel insurance in China includes accident insurance, but we suggest our clients to buy it in your country. Inaddition, you can buy the insurance including travel luggage, accident and external disease.

 

What to Bring ?

Travel documents: travel passport, visa, flight ticket, train ticket, maps, travel program, hotel list with address.

Private things: such as teeth brush, shampoo, sunglasses, clothes suitcase, adaptor,…

 

Group Travel

The most simple and comfortable way with a reasonable price in China is group travel. Here the arrival and departure for tourists, hotels with full price and sightseeing program will be booked by travel agency. A few difficulty thing will be reduced by an experienced travel organizer. Local guide from travel agency is responsible for the explanation of sightseeing. He will make a welcome speech and information for you. Above 10 people in the group we offer national guide.

When you arrive in China, you are met by local guide, the group with 10 people accompanied by a national guide through the whole trip. We have experienced, very good English-speaking tour guides who can give you detail introduction.

Preventive Measures for Health  

  • Travel is prohibited for the people who have infective disease including Aids, Lepra, Venereal disease and TB (pulmonary tuberculosis) and Mental disease. Those who come from areas with epidemics yellow fever must show their valid certification of inoculation against this disease.
  • The world health organization advises tourists to take protective measures against Malaria when they go to some places in South China.
  • You should have a small medicine-chest in your baggage, the medicine against cold, magen-dam-infection, analgesic, disinfectant…
  • Tourists should pay more attention to the sanitation of restaurant, do not eat raw or uncooked food, especially the individual travelers. For group travelers, there is no this problem. Tourists should only drink boiled water. All hotels and restaurants in China have boiled water and toilets.

1 ) Chinese Currency

Chinese currency is Renminbi (RMB). The unit of Renminbi is Yuan. One Yuan is 10 Jiao value or 100 Fen value. There are 1,2,5,10,50 and 100 Yuan note, 1-2-5 Jiao note, 1-2and 5 Fen note as 1 Yuan coins, 1,2 and 5 Jiao coins, and 1-2 and 5 Fen coins, 1 and 2 Fen note are few.

Foreign exchange of Chinese currency is not free. Import and export are not permitted. It is free for travelers to bring foreign currency. Especially Euro or USD in cash or traveler’s cheque can be exchanged in Bank of China, tourists might exchange your foreign cash or traveler’s cheque in any Bank of China or star-level hotels. They like to accept them. It is not necessary to think of exchange rate. Tourists should keep exchange recite and change back your foreign currency when you leave China.

2 ) Credit Card and Traveler’s Cheque

Credit cards such as American Express, Visa card, Euro card, Marster card can be accepted by most of hotels, tourist shops, big supermarkets and restaurants, but not little street stores. It is tedious to take money with credit card in China. It takes more time and the exchange charge is expensive. You can buy air tickets with credit card. Only Bank of China accepts foreign credit cards and exchanges RMB or Euro, not other banks in China.

Chinese Climate/ Travel Time

China is a vast country. The climate vraries with the extensive territory and various topography from region to region. Most parts of China have division between seasons. Some of them are in the northern temperature zone while the southern areas are in the tropical or subtropical zone and northern areas in the frigid zone.

In northern China in Jan it is –19℃ in Harbin, but 13℃ in Canton. In Jul, they have the same temperature, in Harbin 35℃. But the difference is one is dry, it is the best travel time from April to May and September to October, the other is moisture. Baggage and Weight

Your baggage should be solid and locked when you travel in China. You should have handle bags for your private things, valuable things, medicines, etc.

When you take airplane, you can check in your baggage as following:

  1. 40 KG per person for first-class passenger
  2. 30 KG per person for business-class passenger
  3. 20 KG per person for economy-class passeng

Passengers are allowed to bring handbags, jackets, umbrella, stick and cameras.

Exit Regulations

Tourists should pay attention to:

  1. Antiques including porcelain, old books, oil paintings, carves, calligraphy are not permitted to be carried out without official certification.
  2. Wild animals and plants are illegal to be carried out.

Foreign exchange: 5,000 USD or the same number of foreign currency for foreigners. Foreigners are allowed to exchange only up to 6,000 RMB.
