Beijing - Changsha - Yuryang - Wuhan - Xi'an - Luoyang 13 Days

Day 01 Beijing (D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Round out your tour with stops at The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 02 Beijing (BLD)

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the Great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand and visit local farmer's family.

Day 03 Beijing - Changsha (BLD)

Fly to Changsha, capital of Hunan Province. Round out your tour witn stops at Provincial Museum, storing local historical documents, bronze wares of Shang and Zhou dynasties, and carpentry of Chu, all of which are rich in variety and exquisite in nature. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 04 Changsha - Yueyang (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Yueyang, a Tuan Lake Cruise shows its style as ‘the lake of Lotus'. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 05 Yueyang - Wuhan (BLD)

This morning you have a city tour in Yueyang, then embark on a coach to Wuhan. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 06 Wuhan - Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at Guiyuan Temple. Fly to Xi'an, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Stay in 4-star hotel 3 nights.

Day 07 Xi'an (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Forest Stele Museum, City Wall 0f Ming Dynasty and Little Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 08 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terre-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Shaanxi History Museum, enjoy the brilliant history and 3000 exquisite historical relics in the museum.

Day 09 Xi'an - Luoyang (BLD)

Take train to Luoyang, capital of 7 dynasties until the Northern Song dynasty moved its capital to Kaifeng in the 10th century AD. Today, it's hard to imagine that Luoyang was once the centre of the Chinese world and home to more than 1300 Buddhist temples. Our English-speaking guide will meet you at the platform of railway station and transfer to hotel. You have a city tour of Luoyang in the afternoon. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 10 Luoyang (BLD)

You have a visit in Luoyang; Dragon Gate Grottoes, located 12 Km south of Luoyang. The grottos are among the greatest treasure

 

 

 

troves of ancient stone carving in China, together with Dunhuang in the north-west province of Gansu and Yungang in the Shanxi Province, and Kangbaiwan Family.

Day 11 Luoyang - Beijing (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at Shaolin Monastery, at the foot of Wuru Peak on the northern slope of Shaoshi Mountain was originally built in 495 during the Northern Wei Dynasty(368-534). It is known as the “most famous temple under heaven”, for it was here that , in 527, the Indian monk Bodhi Dharma( or Dharma) founded the Chan sect of Buddhism in China. Since Dharma was regarded as the ancestor of the Chan sect, the Shaolin Monastery was called Zuting - The Ancestor's home. Take overnight to Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Stay in hotel 1 night.

Day 12 Beijing (BLD)

Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world. Taste your imperial-style Peking Duck dinner before returning to hotel.

Day 13 Beijing - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
