Kunming-Lunan-Jianshui-Yuanyang 6 Days

Day 01 Kunming (D)

Arrive in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province. At an elevation of 1890m, Kunming has a milder climate than most other Chinese cities, and can be visited at any time of a year. You are greeted on arrival and escorted to your 4-star world-class hotel. Round out your tour with stops at Qiongzhu Temple and market. Stay at 4-star hotel in Kuming 1 night.

Day 02 Kunming—Lunan—Jianshui (BLD)

Drive to Lunan and visit Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful Sani people living around. Then go to Jianshui, a small country town in Southern Yunnan. Stay in 2-star hotel 1 night.

Day 03 Jianshui (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Zhujia Courtyard and Confucius Temple.

Day 04 Jianshui—Yuanyang (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Yuanyang, you will visit local family and rice terraced fields. Stay in guest house 1 night.

Day 05 Yuanyang—Kunming (BLD)

Drive back to Kunming from Yuanyang. Round out your tour with stops at Yuantong Temple.

Day 06 Kunming-—Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.

Day 01 Kunming (D)

Embark on a coach to Dali, transfer to hotel. Visit Three Pagodas, one of the major attractions in Dali. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 03 Daili (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at Erhai Hu (Ear-Shaped Lake), Bai Village and Old Town including foreign street.

Day 04 Dali—Lijiang (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Lijiang, bordering of Tibet, setting in a beautiful valley. You will stroll into the old town. Arrived by mid-morning to see the market square full of Naxi women in traditional dress. Parrots and plants adorn the front porches, women sell griddle cakes in front of teahouses, men walk past with hunting flcons proudly keeping balance on their gloved fists, and players energetically slam down the trumps on a card table in the middle of the street. Embroidery and lenths of cloth are sold in shops around the market. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 05 Lijiang (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lama Temple, Baisha, Black Dragon Pool Park.

Day 06 Lijiang—Shangri La (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Shangri La, a paradise of mountaineers. On the way you will visit Hutiao Gorge (Tiger Leaping Gorge), one of the deepest Gorges in the world. Stay at hotel in Zhongdian 2 nights.

Day 07 Shangri La (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at Songzanlin Monasetry, a 300-year-old Tibetan monastery complex with several hundred monks and old town districts.

Day 08 Shangri La—Kunming (BLD)

Take flight to Kunming after your fine breakfast. Transfer to Lunan by bus, visit Stone Forest, the geological Karst wonder with the colorful Sani people living around. Then go back to Kunming.

Day 09 Kunming—Hometown (B)
