Day 01 Beijing (D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Visit the Yonghe Palace in the afternoon, the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple in China, outside Tibet itself. Stay in hotel 1 night.

Day 02 Beijing - Urumqi - Karshgar (BLD)

Fly to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Our English-speaking guide will meet you in the airport and show you around in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region Museum. Take flight to Karshgar, the largest Chinese city to Afghanistan. Stay in 2-star hotel 1 night.

Day 03 Karshgar (BLD)

This morning you will walk around in the Bazaar, visit Karshgar Mosque after your lunch.

Day 04 Karshgar - Urumqi (BLD)

This morning is on your own, you will visit Old Town and Abakhoja Tomb (Xiangfei's Tomb) in the afternoon. Fly back to Urumqi. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 05 Urumqi - Turpan (BLD)

You will visit Tianshan Mountain with a short cruise on the Tainchi ( Lake of Haven) in the morning, embark on a coach to Turpan after lunch. Round out your tour with stops at Emin Minaret (Sugong Ta), Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 06 Turpan - Liuyuan (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of a legendary site of Flaming Hill, the ancient but magnificent irrigation system of Kare Well, Jiaohe Old Town and Astana Graves. You also visit local family. Take overnight train to Liuyuan.

Day 07 Dunhuang (BLD)

Arrive in Liuyuan in the morning, our English-speaking guide will meet you at platform of railway station and transfer to Dunhuang by bus, a big town in the desert. Check in hotel and have a rest. Round out your tour with stops at Mingsha Shan (Singing Sand Mountain), Crescent Moon Lake and White Horse Pagoda. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 08 Dunhuang (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of the most renowned historical and religious sites—Mogao Grottos.

Day 09 Dunhuang - Anxi - Jiayuguan (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Jiayuguan via Anxi, on the way you will visit Yulin Grotto. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 10 Jiayuguan - Lanzhou (BLD)

Today you will visit The Great Wall and Weijin Tomb. Take overnight train to Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province.

Day 11 Lanzhou (BLD)

Arrive in Lanzhou in the morning, the guide will pick you up at platform of railway station and transfer to hotel check-in. Round out your tour with stops at Baitashan Park and Iron Bridge of Yellow River.

Day 12 Lanzhou - Xiahe (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Xiahe, setting in a beautiful mountain valley. You will visit Labrang Monestry, built in 1709 AD. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 13 Xiahe - Lanzhou (BLD)

This morning you have a visit of Xiahe, go back to Lanzhou by bus in the afternoon. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 14 Lanzhou - Xi'an (BLD)

Fly to Xi'an, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Round out your tour with stops at Forest Stele Museum and City Wall in Ming Dynasty. Stay in 4-star hotel 3 nights.

Day 15 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built by pilgrim monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty 1400 years ago. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty Cultural Show after your dinner.

Day 16 Xi'an (BLD)

This morning you will visit the Great Mosque in the downtown, one of the most famous mosques in the country. You can appreciate combination of the Chinese and Islamic temple and Chinese traditional furniture of Qing Dynasty, Shaanxi History Museum, enjoy the brilliant history and 3000 exquisite historical relics in the museum and Old Town.

Day 17 Xi'an - Beijing - Hometown (B)

Fly to Beijing in the morning after your fine breakfast, transfer the flight to your homebound journey aboard your select airline.

The trip price includes:
