Day 01 Beijing (D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Visit the Yonghe Palace in the afternoon, the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple in China, outside Tibet itself. Stay in hotel 1 night.

Day 02 Beijing - Urumqi - Karshgar (BLD)

Fly to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Our English-speaking guide will meet you in the airport and show you around in the city. Take flight to Karshgar, the largest Chinese city to Afghanistan. Stay in 2-star hotel 1 night.

 
   

Day 03 Karshgar - Kuche (BLD)

You will visit Bazaar, Karshgar Great Mosque and Abakhoja Tomb (Xiangfei's Tomb). Take overnight train to Kuche.

Day 04 Kuche (BLD)

Arrive in Kuche, the guide will pick you up at platform of railway station and transfer to hotel. Round out your tour with stops at Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves, Subashi old Town and Great Mosque. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 05 Kuche - Korla - Turpan (BLD)

You have a visit of Kuche in the morning, embark on a coach to Korla, visiting Iron Gate Pass. Take overnight train to Turpan.

 
   

Day 06 Turpan (BLD)

Arrive in Trupan in the morning, guide will meet you at platform of railway station and transfer to hotel for breakfast. You have a visit of the ancient but magnificent irrigation system of Kare Well, Jiaohe Old Town and Grapes Yards.

Day 07 Turpan - Urumqi (BLD)

You have a city tour in the morning, embark on a coach to Urumqi after lunch, the capital city of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 08 Urumqi - Dunhuang (BLD)

You will visit Tianshan Mountain with a short cruise on the Tainchi (Lake of Haven) in the morning, take overnight train to Dunhuang in the afternoon.

Day 09 Dunhuang (BLD)

Arrive in Liuyuan in the morning, our English-speaking guide will meet you at platform of railway station and transfer to Dunhuang by bus, a big town in the desert. Check in hotel and have a rest. Round out your tour with stops at Crescent Moon Lake and White Horse Pagoda. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 10 Dunhuang (BLD)

 
   

You have a full-day visit of the most renowned historical and religious sites—Mogao Grottoes.

Day 11 Dunhuang - Anxi - Jiayuguan (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Jiayuguan via Anxi, on the way you will visit Yulin Grottoes. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 12 Jiayuguan - Zhangye (BLD)

Today you will visit The Great Wall and Weijin Tomb. Take bus to Zhangye. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 13 Zhangye - Wuwei (BLD)

You will visit Buddhist Temple in the morning, take bus to Wuwei. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 14 Wuwei - Xining (BLD)

You will visit Wenmiao Temple and Han Tomb. Embark on a coach to Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 15 Xining (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Taersi Monastery, one of the six great monasteries of the Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, Taoist Temple and Beishan Mountain (North Mountain).

 

 



 

Day 16 Xining - Lanzhou (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Lanzhou in the morning, the capital city of Gansu Province, you will visit Gansu Provincial Museum. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 17 Lanzhou - Tianshui (BLD)

Take bus to Tianshui in the morning, round out your tour with stops at Fuxi Temple. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 18 Tianshui - Xi'an (BLD)

This morning you have a visit of Haystack Mountain Grottoes, one of China's four largest grottoes. Go to Xi'an by train in the afternoon, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 19 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built by pilgrim monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty 1400 years ago. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty Cultural Show after your dinner.

Day 20 Xi'an - Beijing (BLD)

This morning you will visit Shaanxi History Museum, enjoy the brilliant history and 3000 exquisite historical relics in the museum and City Wall of Ming Dynasty. You also walk around in the local market. Take overnight train to Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance.

Day 21 Beijing (BLD)

Arrive Beijing in the morning, the guide will pick you up at Platform of railway station and transfer to hotel for breakfast. Today you will enjoy Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and the Temple of Heaven. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 22 Beijing (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques, the rest of the day is on your own. Taste your imperial-style Peking Duck dinner before returning to hotel.

Day 23 Beijing - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
