Day 01 Beijing (D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Visit the Yonghe Palace in the afternoon, the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple in China, outside Tibet itself. Stay in hotel 3 nights.

Day 02 Beijing (BLD)

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand.

Day 03 Beijing (BLD)

Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and Temple of Heaven. You also walk around local market. Taste your imperial-style Peking Duck dinner before returning to hotel.

Day 04 Beijing - Xi'an (BLD)

Fly to Xi'an, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Round out your tour with stops at the Great Mosque in the downtown, one of the most famous mosques in the country. You can appreciate combination of the Chinese and Islamic temple and Chinese traditional furniture of Qing Dynasty, Forest Stele Museum and market. Stay in 4-star hotel 4 nights.

Day 05 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built by pilgrim monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty 1400 years ago.

Day 08 Xi'an - Guilin (BLD)

Take flight to Guilin. The green hills of Guilin, whose ethereal landscapes have been immortalized by poets and painters through the ages is one of the major attractions of the country. Visit the immense Reed flute Cave, filled with impressive grottos, pillars, and inscriptions over 1000 years old. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 09 Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (BLD)

Yangshuo, enjoy the beautiful landscape of mountains of both banks of Lijiang. Disembark to Yangshuo in the afternoon. Return to Guilin and enjoy your fine dinner.

This morning is on your own, fly to Shanghai, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. Visit the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings and Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in shanghai Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 11 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions; the Qibao Old Town and Jade Buddha Temple complete a thrilling show by the Shanghai acrobats.

Day 12 Shanghai - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
