Day 01 Beijing (D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Visit the Yonghe Palace in the afternoon, the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist temple in China, outside Tibet itself. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 02 Beijing (BLD)

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand.

Day 03 Beijing - Xi'an (BLD)

Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and Temple of Heaven. Take overnight train to Xi'an.

Day 04 Xi'an (BLD)

Arrive in Xi'an in the morning, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Marathon Race. Stay in 4-star hotel 3 nights.

Day 05 Xi'an (BLD)

Day 06 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built by pilgrim monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty 1400 years ago.

Day 07 Xi'an - Guilin (BLD)

Take flight to Guilin. The green hills of Guilin, whose ethereal landscapes have been immortalized by poets and painters through the ages is one of the major attractions of the country. Visit the immense Reed flute Cave, filled with impressive grottos, pillars, and inscriptions over 1000 years old. Stay in hotel 1 night.

Day 08 Guilin - Yangshuo (BLD)

A popular tourist trip is the boat ride from Guilin down the Lijiang to Yangshuo, enjoy the beautiful landscape of mountains of both banks of Lijiang. Disembark to Yangshuo in the afternoon, stay at 3-star hotel in Yangshuo for 1 night after dinner.

Day 09 Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai (BLD)

Ride a bicycle and ride through the Ten-mile Gallery, a narrow road lined on both sides with charming Karst-land scenery, to the Thounsand-year-old Tree Park and Moon Hill which is the highest hill in the Yangshuo County. Explore the primordial Buddha Cave with flashlight to enjoy the fun of exploration of place unknown. Take bus back to Guilin and transfer to Shanghai by air, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. Stay in 4-star hotel 3 nights.

Day 10 Shanghai (BLD)

Visit the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings, Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in shanghai and Jade Buddha Temple.

Day 11 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions and the Qibao Old Town complete a thrilling show by the Shanghai acrobats.

Day 12 Shanghai - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
