Shanghai - Xi'an - Beijing 09 Days

Day 01 Shanghai (D)

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. You are greeted on arrival and take maglev train to Longyang Station of Shanghai. Round out your tour with stops at Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai and the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 02 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, Old Town and pavilions and Jade Buddha Temple complete the day at a thrilling show by the Shanghai Acrobats

Day 03 Shanghai - Xi'an (BLD)

Take flight to Xi'an in the morning, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Enjoy Yuanxiao Festival (Jun. 15 of Lunar Year) with local Chinese people. Stay with local people.

Day 04 Xi'an (BLD)

Return to the hotel after breakfast. Visiting the best preserved City Wall, City Wall Park and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built by pilgrim monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty 1400 years ago. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 05 Xi'an (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi, Forest Stele Museum and Great Mosque, one of the most famous mosques in the country. You can appreciate combination of the Chinese and Islamic temple and Chinese traditional furniture of Qing Dynasty.

Day 06 Xi'an - Beijing (BLD)

After your breakfast in hotel, you will take bus to local village to enjoy the folk art activities. Lunch in the village. Take overnight train to Beijing after Dinner.

Day 07 Beijing (BLD)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Be transferred on arrival to your 4-star hotel, have your breakfast. Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and Temple of Heaven,which was completed in 1420 and was originally a platform for the Son of Heaven (the emperor) to perform sacrifices and solemn rites.Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

 

 




Day 08 Beijing (BLD)     

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand and Summer Palace. Taste your imperial-style Peking Duck dinner before returning to hotel.

Day 09 Beijing - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you’ll embark on your homebound journey aboard with your select airline.
