Day 01 Shanghai (D)

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. You are greeted on arrival and escorted to your 4-star world-class hotel. Round out your tour with stops at Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai and the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 02 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions, the Old Town and Jade Buddha Temple complete the day at a thrilling show by the Shanghai acrobats.

Day 03 Shanghai - Chengdu (BLD)

This morning is on your own. Take flight to Chengdu in the afternoon. “Storehouse of Haven” as the nickname, the capital of Sichuan Province. Our English-speaking guide will pick you up in the airport and transfer to your 4-star hotel. Stay at hotel 1 night.

Day 04 Chengdu - Lhasa (BLD)

Fly to Lhasa in the morning, literally meaning "Holy-Land", is the heart and soul of Tibet, has history of more than 1,300 years. Transfer to hotel. The rest of day is on your own. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 05 Lhasa (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Jokhang Temple and Drepung Monastery.

Day 06 Lhasa - Gyantse (BLD)

Embark on a coach to Kangbala Plateau, you will visit Yangcuokang Lake. Go to Gyantseby bus, the third largest town of old Tibetan towns. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 07 Gyantse - Shigatse (BLD)

You will visit Baiju Monastery in the morning, embark on a coach to Shigatse in the afternoon. Round out your tour with stops at Tashilhunpo Monastery. Stay in 3-star hotel 1 night.

Day 08 Shigatse - Lhasa (BLD)

Embark on a coach back to Lhasa. You will pass by Buramaputra Valley to Lhasa. Stay in 4-star hotel 1 night.

Day 09 Lhasa (BLD)

You will visit Potala Palace, the most imposing attraction of Lhasa, Sera Monastery, Eight Angles Street and Norbu Lingka.

Day 10 Lhasa - Chengdu - Chongqing (BLD)

Take morning flight to Chengdu, go to Chongqing by bus after your lunch, known as Ba in ancient times, is located in Southwest China. It is also known as a city of oven, mountains. Get on board and spend overnight on the boat.

Day 11 The Three Gorges cruise Tour (BLD)

You will take the shore excursion to Fengdu, the “Ghost City” or Shibaozhai, continue this afternoon through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge.

Day 12 the Three Gorges cruise Tour (BLD)

You will take the shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Less Three Gorges.

Day 13 Yichang - Wuhan - Xi'an (BLD)

Arrive in Yichang in the morning, visit the Three Gorges dam in the morning. Embark on a coach to Wuhan. Fly to Xi'an, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. Day 14 Xi'an (BLD)  

Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You also walk around in the local market.

Day 15 Xi'an - Beijing (BLD)

Round out your tour with stops at Shaanxi History Museum, enjoy the brilliant history and 372,000 exquisite historical relics in the museum and City Wall of Ming Dynasty. Take overnight train to Beijing.

Day 16 Beijing (BLD)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and The Temple of Heaven. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 17 Beijing (BLD)

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand. Taste your imperial-style Peking Duck dinner before returning to hotel.

Day 18 Beijing - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
