Day 01 Frankfurt – Beijing

Fly from Frankfurt to Beijing.

Day 02 Beijing (B)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. You’ll be transferred to your 4-star hotel. Visiting the Forbidden City,also known as the Imperial Palace, the National Palace Museum and Gugong, is probably Beijing’s top tourist attraction.  This huge palace complex (one full square kilometer), previously home to 23 successive Emperors, is located in the heart of Beijing, on the north side of Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square, the largest man made square in the world.

Day 03 Beijing – Urumqi (BLD)

Fly to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, which has 1.6 Million people. The tour guide will meet you at airport. Transfer to your 4-star hotel.

Day 04 Urumqi – Kashgar (BLD)

Today you’ll visit the Heavenly pool (Tianchi Lake), used to be known as Yaochi (Jade Lake), one of the main tourist attractions in China. Fly to Kashgar.

Day 05 Kashgar – Karakuli (BLD)

Today Kashgar since 2000 years ago is still a great market city. Visit the Karakuli Lake, which is 3,600 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Maztagata Mountain. Karakuli means" black sea" in the local dialect, and resembles a glittering pearl embedded among the alpine peaks, reflecting the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Day 06 Kashgar (BLD)

Visit the the old town, the Id-Kah Mosque, it is considered as the Great Mosque in China, with a square of the same name is at the heart of the city, started to build in the mid of fifteenth century, and has gradually developed to the present size. The Abakh Hoja Tomb, commonly known among Chinese as the Tomb of Xiangfei, is the most magnificent tomb in Kashgar, filled with history and symbolism. It actually served as the family tomb of Abakh Hoja, the powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century.

Day 07 Kashgar – Yarkant – Hotan (BLD)

Embark on the coach to Hotan. Visiting the Yarkant King Tomb and the Mosque.

Day 08 Hotan (BLD)

Visit the Paper-making Workshop, the Bazaar, the Silk Factory, the White Jade River, the Museum and the Carpet Factory.
1 night in Hotan. Hotel: ***

Day 09 Hotan – Mazatag (BLD)

Drive Jeep to Mazatag. Enjoy the natural desert scenery on the way.
Camping.

Day 10 Mazatag – Taklamakan (BLD)

Drive Jeep to Taklamakan Desert, great desert of Central Asia and one of the largest sandy deserts in the world. Enjoy the natural desert scenery on the way. Camping.

Day 11 Taklamakan – Alaer (BLD)

Drive Jeep in Taklamakan Desert. Enjoy the natural desert scenery on the way. Arrive in Alaer – a small town.
1 night in Alaer.
Camping or stay in Guesthouse.

Day 12 Alaer - Aksu (BLD)

Drive Jeep to Aksu.

Day 13 Aksu - Kucha (BLD)

Drive Jeep to Kucha. Today you’ll visit the Kizil Thousand Buddha Cave, cut the third century to eight or ninth century, is the earliest Buddhist art treasure trove in China, even one century earlier than the famous Mogao Grottoes. And Beacon Tower.

Day 14 Kucha – Korla (BLD)

Round out your tour with stop at Kucha Mosque and Subashi old city. Drive to Korla.

Day 15 Korla - Turpan (BLD)

Drive to Turpan, about 7 hours, 450km. It was an important strategic point on the Silk Road.  Enjoy the natural land scenery on the way .

Day 16 Turpan (BLD)

Round out your tour with stop at the Flaming Mountain, one of the hottest places on earth, the ruin city – Gaochang, the Uigur city-state that ruled the area from around the 9th century to the 13th. The Bezeklik thousands Buddha Cave, Bezeklik means "place where there are paintings" in the Uygur language. At this place is also the Royal Temple of the King of Huigu, which was built by the Xizhou Huigu government of the Gaochang Kingdom.  Astana Graves, the dead of Gaochang were buried. The ruin city – Jiaohe, it was the capital of the state of South Cheshi, one of the kingdoms of the Han dynasty (206-220BC). The Carez - the underground water system

Day 17 Turpan - Urumqi (BLD)

Take jeep from Turpan to Urumqi. Today you’ll visit the Red Mountain Park and Provincial Museum.

Day 18 Urumqi – Beijing (BLD)

Fly to Beijing. Visit the Wangfujing Street.

Day 19 Beijing – Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you’ll embark on your homebound journey aboard.
