Shanghai - lijiang - Guilin - Chongqing - Yangtze River Cruise - wuhan - Beijing 14 Days

Day 01 Shanghai (D)

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. You are greeted on arrival and take maglev train to Longyang station. Round out your tour with stops at the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings and Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 02 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions, Old Town and Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy acrobatic show after dinner.

Day 03 Shanghai - Lijing (BLD)

Take flight MU5816 to Lijiang, bordering of Tibet, setting in a beautiful valley. You will stroll into the old town. Arrive by mid-morning to see the market square full of Naxi women in traditional dress. Parrots and plants adorn the front porches, women sell griddle cakes in front of teahouses, men walk past with hunting flcons proudly keeping balance on their gloved fists, and players energetically slam down the trumps on a card table in the middle of the street. Embroidery and lenths of cloth are sold in shops around the market. Visit Black Dragon Pool Park. Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 04 Lijiang (BLD)

You will take cable car to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Highland Grassland of Maoniu (Tibetan cow) Town, on the way you also have a visit of Hutiao Gorge (Tiger Leaping Gorge), one of the deepest gorges in the world.

Day 05 Lijiang - Guilin (BLD)

You have a city tour of Lijiang, visit Sifang street of Dayan Old Town. Fly to Kunming at noon then transfer to Guilin by air, the green hills of Guilin, whose ethereal landscapes have been immortalized by poets and painters through the ages is one of the major attractions of the country.Stay in 4-star hotel 2 nights.

Day 06 Guilin (BLD)

A popular tourist trip is the boat ride from Guilin down the Lijiang to Yangshuo, enjoy the beautiful landscape of mountains of both banks of Lijiang. Disembark to Yangshuo in the afternoon, return to Guilin.

Day 07 Guilin - Chongqing (BLD)

This morning you will visit the immense Reed flute Cave, filled with impressive grottoes, pillars, and inscriptions over 1000 years old and Seven Star Park. Fly to Chongqing, known as Ba in ancient times, is located in Southwest China. It is also known as a city of oven, mountains and fog.Board your “East King” cruise ship. Check in on the boat and enjoy your dinner.

Day 08 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD) 

You will take the shore excursion to Fengdu, visit the “Ghost City” and walk around in the small town.

Day 09 Yangtze River Cruise (BLD) 

Continue this afternoon through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge and see the fabled Twelve Peaks, take the shore excursion to Shennong Stream and Baidi City.

Day 10 Wuhan - Beijing (BLD)

Arrive in Yichang in the morning, visit the construction of Three Gorges Dam and ship lock. Take train to Wuhan. Fly to Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Transfer on arrival to your 4-star hotel. Stay in hotel 4 nights.

Day 11 Beijing (BLD)

 

 

 

 

Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world; Mao Zedong Mausoleum and The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat.

Day 12 Beijing (BLD)

Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand and Ming Tomb.

Day 13 Beijing (BLD)

You have chance to climb Simatai Great Wall, enjoy the nature of the Great Wall.


Day 14 Beijing - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
