Shanghai - Wuhan - Yangtze River cruise - Chongqing -
Nanjing - Suzhou  11 Days

Day 01 Shanghai - Wuhan - Yichang (LD)

Arrive in Shanghai, the largest and most cosmopolitan city, as modern any in the world. Transfer to Wuhan. Take bus to Yichang, Get on board and spend overnight on the boat. Your Three Gorges Cruise trip begins.

 

Day 02 - Day 04 the Three Gorges Cruise tour (BLD)

Visit the Three Gorges dam in the morning. Then pass the ship lock and continue on the cruise. Sail on through the Xiling Gorge. Tonight the captain hosts a welcome dinner on board. You will take the shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Little Three Gorges. Continue this afternoon through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge and see the fabled Twelve Peaks. Take shore excursion to Fengdu, the “Ghost City” or Shibaozhai.

Day 05 Chongqing (BLD)

Arrive in Chongqing in the morning, guide will pick you up on the boat. Chongqing, known as Ba in ancient times, is located in Southwest China. It is also known as a city of oven, mountains and fog. Visit the Eling Park, the Panda House of Chongqing Zoo and the Porcelain Street.

Day 06 Chongqing - Nanjing (BLD)

Take flight to Nanjing. Nanjing is one of China's more attractive cities. It sports a long historical heritage and has twice served briefly as the nation's capital, firstly, in the early years of the Ming dynasty (AD1368—1644) and secondly as the capital of the Republic of Chins in the early years of the 20th century. Most of Nanjing's major attractions are reminders of the city's former glory under the Ming. Visit the Spirit Valley Temple. Stay in hotel 2 nights.

Day 07 Nanjing (BLD)

Visit Ming Xiaoling(Tomb of Hong Wu), Sun Yatsen Mausoleum and the President House.

Day 08 Nanjing - Suzhou (BLD)

Packed with gardens, pagodas, temples, lively shops and street scenes, Suzhou is a pleasure to explore, as you'll do on this morning's tour. Visit the Garden of the Master of Nets and West Garden. Step into small, harmonious designed with rock, water, trees and showy vegetation, then visit silk factory. Have a cruise tour on Grand Canal.

Day 09 Suzhou - Shanghai (BLD)

 

 

 

 

Take train to Shanghai from Suzhou in the morning, visit Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai and the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings. Stay at hotel for 2 nights.

Day 10 Shanghai (BLD)

You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions and the Jade Buddha Temple.

Day 11 Shanghai - Hometown (B)

With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.

The trip price includes:
1. Hotel accommodations with breakfast as specified (but hotels are subject to change to the same category before finally confirmed).
