Beijing - Lhasa - Xi'an - Chongqing - Yangtze River Cruise - Wuhan - Shanghai - Suzhou 16 Days
Day 01 Beijing(D)
Arrive in Beijing, the capital and cultural center of China, where virtually every boulevard and building exudes an air of importance. Be transferred arrival to your 4-star hotel. Visit the Temple of Heaven. Stay in hotel 3 nights.
Day 02 Beijing (BLD)
Enjoy a full-day tour of the sights that make Beijing a spectacular destination: The Summer Palace, an oasis of tea gardens, pavilions, painted corridors, and shimmering Kunming Lake with Empress Dowager's eccentric marble boat. Badaling Great Wall, one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights, the great Wall snakes along nearly 4000 miles of impossibly steep hills and harsh, rugged plains. Today you will climb Badaling Great Wall in your leisure and marvel at the manpower that went into building the world's longest structure entirely by hand.
Day 03 Beijing (BLD)
Today you will enjoy the sprawling Forbidden City, home to 24 Ming and Qing emperors and now a repository of precious art and antiques; Tiananmen Square, the largest man-made square in the world and Wangfujing Street, a shopping street in Beijing.
Day 04 Beijing - Lhasa (BLD)
Take flight to Lhasa. The rest of day is on your own. Stay in hotel 3 nights.
Day 05 Lhasa (BLD)
Visit Jokhang Temple, Eight Angles Street and Drepung Monastery.
Day 06 Lhasa (BLD)
Visit Potala Palace, the most imposing attraction of Lhasa and Sera Monastery.
Day 07 Lhasa - Xi'an (BLD)
Take flight to Xi'an, a vital center of history, culture and archaeology. It is impossible to overstate Xi'an's importance in China's history. Here began the fabled Silk Road, here a string of dynasties made their capital, here a Neolithic culture built a village 6000 years ago, and here lies a highlight of your trip: the excavation site of 8000terra-cotta soldiers and horses, buried around the tomb of emperor Qinshihuangdi, builder of the Great Wall and other massive endeavors. Round out your tour stops at old city. Stay in hotel 2 nights.
Day 08 Xi'an (BLD)
Round out your tour with stops at the Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses of Qinshihuangdi and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 09 Xi'an - Chongqing (BLD)
Visit 600 years old City Wall of Ming Dynasty, the Forest Stele Museum, Great Mosque and free market. Take flight to Chongqing, known as Ba in ancient times, is located in Southwest China. It is also known as a city of oven, mountains. Guide will pick you up on the boat. Visit the Eling Park. Get on board and spend overnight on the boat.
Day 10 - Day 11 the Three Gorges Cruise Tour (BLD)
You will take the shore excursion to Fengdu, the “Ghost City” or Shibaozhai, continue this afternoon through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge and see the fabled Twelve Peaks, take the shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Little Three Gorges.

Day 12 Yichang - Wuhan (BLD)
Arrive in Yichang, visit the construction of Three Gorges project, ship lock. Take train to Wuhan. Stay in hotel 1 night.
Day 13 Wuhan - Shanghai - Suzhou (BLD)
Visit the Provincial Museum in the morning, and fly to Shanghai, transfer to Suzhou by train. Stay at hotel in Suzhou 1 night
Day 14 Suzhou - Shanghai (BLD) 
Packed with gardens, pagodas, temples, lively shops and street scenes, Suzhou is a pleasure to explore. Visit the Garden of the Master of Nets and Lion Grove. Take train back to Shanghai. Round out your tour with stops at Nanjing Road, the most famous shopping street in Shanghai and the riverfront Bund where foreign traders left a legacy of European-style buildings Stay in hotel 2 nights.
Day 15 Shanghai (BLD)
You have a full-day visit of Yuyuan Garden with its quintessential Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions; Longhua Temple and the Jade Buddha Temple. Enjoy Acrobatic Show after dinner.
Day 16 Shanghai - Hometown (B)
With new insights and found memories of China, you embark on your homebound journey aboard your select airline.
